Empty Intravia® Container Consumer-Level Recall
7/28/2017
On July 28, 2017, Baxter Healthcare issued a consumer-level recall of Empty Intravia® Containers with non-DEHP fluid path NDC # 85412-0295-61. This recall was issued due to the potential presence of leaks. Leaks may allow for microbial contamination of the sterile fluid path. If not detected, using a bag with a leak could lead to a bloodstream infection or other serious adverse health consequences.
This recall affects lot number DR16J18096 exp. 10/19/21. The affected lot went into distribution on November 22, 2016.
